Status update

It has now been little over a year since I ran the first session of Marmoris Carcerem.

Firstly I would like to thank my players as well as all of you that have shown interest in the dungeon. According to the little bookkeeping I did a few days ago, as of now there are only 24 rooms left to Marmoris to either fill in or expand upon before the entire dungeon has been fully keyed in.

This dungeon was first and foremost made for play, and only afterwards has it been going through the process of being "written open" in such a way and format that hopefully someone other than just me would be able to run it as well. As such the process of filling things in has been slow, I rarely add things in to the dungeon before it starts to seem like it might be needed for play.

However it is now starting to look like the game I have been running is steadily moving away from the dungeon so I hope to fill in the last few remaining rooms in order to finish this project for those that have been waiting for the day the level 2 gets updated in.

What currently remains to be done for that to happen is for me to put in the final touches to the public version of the map, such as room numbers and small environmental sketches, re-write a bunch of the magic items that I had put inside the dungeon in my game as a number of them had been pulled from things that other people had published, as well as put in the rest of the monsters which includes ideas that I myself have used to replace defeated area bosses to help any GMs with re-stocking the dungeon.

As a little bonus for reading all the way here, here's the latest campaign inforgraphic from the Marmoris that I have been running. And if you're interested, you can read summaries of the delves that have been undergone during the campaign over on my blog.

Similarly, I would be interested in reading any stories of your delves you have played in or ran within the dungeon!

Fantastic news! I've just started a game with some friends and they had an unfortunate encounter with the Torturer on the first two sessions. They are committed still to delve deeper. I'm looking forward to the lower levels, it's an amazing dungeon, very atmospheric.
